   I’m more of a hockey game, hot dog, and black coffee kind of guy, but I wanted to do something special for my wife for Valentine’s weekend. I saw Southern Tea Room on OpenTable and thought she’d enjoy it—and I’m really glad we went. The atmosphere was quiet, elegant, and relaxing. I enjoyed a great cup of tea while spending quality time with my wife. The soup and salad were excellent, the small sandwiches were surprisingly filling, and the dessert pastries were outstanding. Guys, this is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon with your wife. You’ll have a relaxing time, enjoy good food, and most importantly, make her happy. I’ll definitely take her back.

   Four of us went for Galentine’s Tea on February 14th and we had a special afternoon at Southern Tea. We started by choosing our own teacup. My grandmother used to have me choose a tea cup when I had tea at her house with her, so that warmed my heart! I forgot to let the staff know about one of us in a special diet. They accommodated as best they could without me preparing them, and that was truly kind and gracious of Stephanie. The tea was delicious and the food was fresh and delicious as well, and I am spreading the word and I will come back as well! It was very sweet :)

   This was a grave disappointment. I was hoping for a nice time with my mom. The cost being $50 I was expecting great food, tea, & experience. The tea was fine, but the rest was subpar. It seemed like the food came from Kroger & put on a fancy plate. It was a complete waste of my money. Do not go!

    The tea room is absolutely delightful. We loved the amazing tasty selection of sweet and savory foods - especially the sandwiches. The vast selection of teas offered a yummy choice for everyone. We can’t wait to go back.
