   Delicious food and very attentive and friendly staff. Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with family. Wish the car park was bigger 😄..wont stop us going back though. Would recommend this restaurant.

   Food was lovely as always, just the service is pretty slow and probably not enough staff for the amount of people who were there. I’m very patient but most people like a drink once they’re sat at there table, our friend that was with us was getting a little frantic as no one came to take a drink order and he had to ask one of the staff for drinks. Anyway still a lovely evening and food was fab ⭐️

   This restaurant is a perfect spot for a superb Sunday lunch with an excellent and comprehensive menu. The food quality was delicious and absolutely excellent from locally sourced suppliers. A quiet atmosphere really helped us have a pleasant, restful and enjoyable conversation without background noise drowning out what we said. We would highly recommend The Stack Restaurant and Bar.

   Food was lovely as always - service ok - ambience zero! It would have been good to have had a nice Mother’s Day welcome drink or even the menu to have had a special mums day offer - also the restaurant lacks any sort of table decoration & some nice music in the background would be good to go give nice atmosphere! It was not special enough just to have food that they have every day!

   Love eating at The Stack! Had the most amazing pork belly main and a tarte to die for as dessert and the rest of our party loved their food too. Not giving it full marks as dining in the bar area means you have to listen to the staff discussing their private lives loudly at the bar which is not welcome. We would sit in the main restaurant but it feels a bit soulless. But the food must be among the best in the north east!

   I went with the wife and while we enjoyed the majority of the meal, one part wasn't very good. The Pichana steak, while flavoursome, was like rubber. My Wife is not a complainer, so ate what she could of it, but left the rest. I tried to cut through some of the pieces, but even with the steak knife, it was incredibly difficult to cut. We did tell the server when he asked if everything was ok and the response was lukewarm at best. (no apology or anything was forthcoming). We believe it important to give accurate feedback, so they can improve next time. It took a while to be shown to a table despite thee being quite a number free. It then took10 to 15 minutes to ask for our drinks order and then another 10 to 15 to ask for our food order. Not great service in my opinion. However in fairness there were only 3 staff on duty (all quite young in my opinion) and the bar was quite busy. My food was excellent and I have no complaints about that side of things. We will go back an try again, because the menu is really appealing. Hopefully they can iron out the small issues that exist. The effort was good, but the delivery could have been better.

    Went for lunch and I had a great meal, I will definitely return as it was tasty and there is more options on the menu's that I would have liked to try. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It does not have the biggest of carparks, but I know the area well enough to not park in front of residents driveways. Looking forward to my next visit.
