Located in the leafy area of Bowdon, The Stamford is a modern interpretation of pubs from a bygone era; a social space enjoyed by the local community and visitors alike, serving the wider Altrincham, Hale and Cheshire area.

We offer a fresh food a la carte menu alongside lunch specials throughout the pub and a crowd-pleasing set price menu on a Sunday, including our famous mixed meat roasts. Whether a quick pint or bite after work, a romantic meal for two, a special celebration, or a few hours sat in our sunshine garden at the front, we have space

We had a lovely experience. Food was delicious, and your servers helped with our food selection. Very Christmassy and attractive building. And our dog was very well looked after.

Always a pleasure to dine at this old favourite. We took a wreath making class today beforehand and the pub is so Christmassy. Staff awesome. Food great and good value. Loved it x

Booked a table last minute. The pub was busy but that didn’t affect the level of service. The staff were excellent, especially Monika who went over and above to help. The food was lovely. All round great afternoon

The service is always great here but the food was disappointing. There is a new menu and the choice is not nearly as good. Have to order chips separately from Burgers and the chips are a fiver!!
