We recently enjoyed a Sunday lunch at the Station House, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was mostly excellent—my salmon main was particularly delicious, and the yuzu tart for dessert was a standout. However, the camembert starter was disappointing, as it was overly greasy. Service was a bit mixed. We had multiple servers, and while two out of three were great, one was a little off-putting—stacking plates noisily in front of us while clearing the table, which felt a bit intrusive. There was also an error on our bill, with a €30 overcharge, but to their credit, it was resolved quickly. The setting is lovely, and while it’s on the pricier side for a Sunday lunch for four, it was still an enjoyable outing.

We would have been regulars but unfortunately the last time and today were very disappointing. We will not be back. The management seems to have changed as do the chefs. All in all a very disappointing experience.

The the food was nice but a change to the bar food menu is long overdue and perhaps one or two daily specials on a black board menu Perhaps you should consider changing around the bar food menu every few months

We had a lovely evening in the bar .dinner was very good . We were served by darren he was the epitome of Irish hospitality. He was a great man for recommending food and drinks and his humour was effortless . A real asset to your hotel . He made everyone feel at ease and more than welcoming . A lovely evening by the fire .

Arrived at 8:15 which we had booked for. Was told table wasn’t ready and we were asked to wait in the library. We were left waiting until 8:45 at which we decided to leave. Ridiculous that a table wasn’t ready for the time booked. Very very bad service.

We had a lovely meal in the library area of the Platform Bar. Food never disappoints and the cozy welcoming feel makes it a really enjoyable experience. We’ll be back soon.

Have done a fantastic job turning this quaint country hotel into a high end culinary boutique. Food is fantastic - akin to a high end French Auberge. Well worth the trip. Great job.
