   After a tumultuous beginning and misunderstanding, the General Manager got involved and made provided us great customer service. I do not recall his name but he has been there for a number of years. There is a reason why. The food and server Brandon was outstanding. We will be back and recommend to all of our friends! Thank you for a great night!

   Not an off note. Perfection. Fine dining at its best. We are regulars at The Steakhouse. With every visit to Galveston at our house here .. our home on the island and this restaurant are our comfort places. John Paul runs the show as seamlessly as the best restaurants in the country. Have fun, the experience and food quality worth the upper echelon price.

   This is the 2nd time we've dined at The Steakhouse inside San Luis/Galveston, Texas. We didn't get disappointed either time....everything was superb! To say the food, service & atmosphere is great does not cover it.....the Lobster Bisque is the best I've ever had,...the filet was cooked to perfection & my husband's Salmon he compared to Alaska first run Copper River!!!!! Service is over the top..on our 1st visit 11/13/24, we had Lazon (not sure of sp.)...he was polite, helpful with suggestions, very prompt with the timing of our meal & very professional & friendly. On our 2nd visit, 2/22, if it's possible, the experience was even better. Our main server was Carlos, who was a delight...but Lazon recognized us & came over to say hello & wished my husband a Happy Birthday. Our whole experience was exceptional...I'm running out of great adjectives! Also, to end this glowing review, there's Jon Paul....the Maitre D Extraordinaire...he makes sure this restaurant is a well oiled machine. He checks on everything from the customers, the food & the servers. He's always there to assist with anything & everything. His personality is perfect for the job he does, too. Very friendly. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a plain old date night. They all make you feel very special!

    Our server was so knowledgeable, he even taught me things about steaks. Amazing service, somehow even better food, all around phenomenal experience. Everytime i’m in Galveston i will come back.
