The origin of The Story Café emerged from the mantra “There is a story in everything”
So in 2018 when we fell upon a 30 year old warehouse, we saw the potential to transform the abandoned space into a warm, hospitable, unique eatery. Through consistent innovation, research and dedication we managed to blend our affinity for coffee, music, food and antique into a ambient mélange of vintage and nostalgia. We had the seafood platter for 2, organic green salad and beef Wellington. All were outstanding. Despite email confirmation for 1:45 h seating, we were informed when we arrived that we could have the table for 1:20 h. Felt rushed since it takes 35 minutes to prepare beef Wellington and no time for dessert. Followed up with the restaurant who informed me to call directly next time if I want the regular seating duration to be honoured.

This is my new favorite restaurant. I was there with my wife for an anniversary dinner. We ordered only appetizers and charcuterie board. Unbelievablely delicious and the price did not break the bank at all. We ordered two drinks. The double caeser was superb. The steak bites, rib-eye, were so tender and delicious that we ordered a second platter and ate that for dessert. In between, we enjoyed the large charcuterie board. Fine cheeses, meat, blueberries, strawberries, and pickled cauliflower. Delicious. We also ordered the shrimp and scallops. I haven't eaten scallops this good. Cooked to perfection. We also ordered the shrimp cocktail. Perfectly served and the cocktail sauce was delicious. The ambience was pThis is my new favorite restaurant. I was there with my wife for an anniversary dinner. The professional waiter was excellent, calm, on time, and had pictures ready for us to view of the menu items. The bus boy was also very professional. He described each piece of food to us perfectly and with much knowledge. It's so nice to know that we can eat such fine food for such a fine price. Thank you.
