Located inside the Canopy by Hilton hotel, nestled right at the top of the commons. The Strand provides locals, as well as weary travelers, a place for respite and stimulation. Our stated mission prioritizes quality of experience over quantity. Beautiful space. Food was mediocre and luke warm. We waited quite some time for our meal. Waiter was lovely but forgot our appetizers.

Had a delightful evening. Waitstaff friendly and helpful. Recommend wearing a sweater because building AC is cold and blows on the tables.

Very nice hotel restaurant serving good, casual food. One of the better dining options in downtown Ithaca. Everything is delicious. We've been twice so far, will be back again.

With offerings ranging from simple but elegant (their personal pizzas were executed to perfection), to more inspired upscale entrées, one would think the cuisine stole the show, but that wasn't the best part. The drink menu with refreshing beers, delicious NA mocktails, and original twists on classic cocktails could tempt anyone to indulge in something special, but my effervescent "Ithaca Gin Fizz" wasn't the best part, either. The ambiance is lovely, but the best part has got to be the service. Every time I go, just for a drink or for a full dinner, every bartender, every server, and every host has been a true delight, elevating my evening to that almost indescribable level where, in retrospect, I just can't help thinking to myself, "now THAT was a good night."

Good food, great drinks. Had a Smokey bourbon drink and a burger. Chicken dish ordered was also tasty. Would visit again.
