   We all had a brilliant time and the food was superb. The food was so good we were all trying to remember the last time we all had such an all round great meal. The service was attentive without being over powering. The best way I can say how much we enjoyed our visit we booked a table for later in the week to try the evening menu, this visit was for sunday lunch.

   The new premises are so much better. The food is still excellent, we had the lamb and beef, both very tender and beautifully cooked veggies.

   Excellent food and service. Good atmosphere. Well designed space with an inviting foyer. Good choice of food which was cooked to a high standard and delicious. Would definitely go there again and definitely recommend to others!

    Food was good on the whole but nothing like we had before. Disappointed in the change in direction. Why would an establishment like the stubborn duck offer rump steak and at £26, put a sirloin or ribeye on for goodness sake. just don’t get it come on guys. Found it very cold & far to open & loud, and that was with is pretty much empty.
