   Lovely food and drinks. The only downside was we booked a table but because they had a lot of walk ins we had to sit on a tiny table in a corne as they didn’t reserve a table for us. . Can’t fault the staff or food.

   Lovely relaxed valentines meal , I had the Barnsley chop was melt in the mouth so beautiful , my partner had steak and ribs he said they were the nicest he’d ever had , roaring log fire what else is there to love x

   Made welcome and checked seating ok as had toddler with us. Orders taken promptly from Sunday lunch menu and meal came looking appetising and hot. All plates were emptied. Excellent value for money with efficient friendly service. Thank you all at Three Houses.

   We’d booked for 7.15 and were seated quickly and given menus, but no one came to take a drinks order until we asked after waiting a while. Although we’d clearly booked for dinner we were told we couldn’t order food straight away as they were too busy. We did order drinks- the bottle of wine was plonked down on the table without glasses (or checking it was right). We had to prompt again for glasses to put it in! Fortunately it was a screw top so we could serve ourselves. When we could order the food came quickly and was nice but some of the coffees we had afterwards were not hot. There was a big party in the function room and that seemed to take priority- they were understaffed for the bookings they had and some of the staff need more training.

   Our first time back at the three houses for a while, the breakfast was fantastic and great value. We’ll be back again for a meal very soon.

    Vary rare for us to review anywhere but have to for this place. It’s fabulous. And the food was fabulous too. I had the garlic mushrooms. They were beautiful (could have been a little bit hotter ) my partner had the soup. Really enjoyed it , and he a bit of a soup coni sour. We both had the roast turkey and it was beautiful , my partner would have liked more We both finished with the sticky toffee pudding and custard. Best ever. Waitress was very efficient. Could have more experience regarding menu. Ie what type of soup and if we could have variety of meats instead of just one. But when we asked anything she went off snd found out. So that was good
