Lovely service, delicious food and beautiful pub. A bit of rowdy noise from the bar next to the restaurant area was annoying but it was Saturday night so to be expected.

Enjoyable evening with nice food. I had the Tudor burger which didn’t blow me away but the chips were lovely. Next time I’ll try the pie as it looked amazing. Staff were very polite and friendly. Where we sat had dim lighting which in my opinion could go up 20% to make menu reading a little easier but was also cozy so 50/50 on that. We will go back some time soon but didn’t leave with the urge to do so immediately.

Thanks for a lovely roast, and for giving us the space with our toddler as she wanted to wander. Also as she was getting tired towards the end of the meal, thanks for bringing out her dessert first to help her. We appreciate little things like that so much as parents! Always a lovely experience, thank you!

What a lovely evening spent at the Tudor rose for valentines , lovely atmosphere, friendly staff great food. They had made such an effort with the decor it looked lovely. Thanks for a great evening .

The Tudor Rose is a great old pub tucked away in historic Upnor. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and attentive staff (despite the restaurant area being surprisingly full for a Tuesday) and we enjoyed our evening very much. The food was decent and the portions generous although for some reason the fish and chips was not quite up to the standard that I have enjoyed here before. That said I'm sure I will return once again.
