    We went early evening were treatedike royalty, enjoyed everything. Food arrived promptly, well cooked. First time here atmosphere lovely. A gem hide

    In many pubs, the Xmas lunch is not as good as the rest of the year but I was very happy with the quality of the Xmas lunch today. All 3 of my courses were very good and everyone at the table seemed happy too. My only suggestion would be to add a small piece of bread or toast with the salmon mousse.

    I was very grateful for a vegan option of a roast dinner. However the nut roast lacked flavour and texture, but still tasty. May be consider adding a vegan Yorkshire pud. Also it would be nice to have more than one vegan choice on the desert menu. Overall a lovely meal My go to pub for drinks and food I will return Thank you 😊
