   We had our wedding at the View at Battery Park and always like to go back for our anniversary dinner. The food and service were excellent! The drinks were great too. Everything that we had was perfect. We started with the marinara pizza, then had the shrimp pasta and salmon paillard, and finished with the lava cake. Everything was delicious. We highly recommend visiting the restaurant when you are in the area because you will not be disappointed.

   Wonderful view of of Governors Island and Statue of Liberty. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We had appetizers and everything was well prepared and served warm

   Hostess was very polite, food was good (not great, but good) but the service was terrible. After waiting 5-10 mins, our server took our drink order (and got it wrong). Then it took him forever to come back and take our food order. Food came promptly and was pretty good (I had a grain bowl and added shrimp, quite good) my daughter had the chicken sandwich which was ok- a little dry. Our server never checked in once to see how our food was, or if we needed anything else. Then we waited forever to get our check, to the point where I had to ask another server to bring it. Then he came over and told me our drinks were on the house, but only took off my daughter’s lemonade and not my wine. So who knows. Overall, if you are coming from the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island tour on a Sunday, not a bad place to get a quick, decent meal, but I would head over to Eataly at World Trade Center instead next time.

   Great service but what was an amazing view of NY Harbor has been almost totally blocked by a trailer for Statue of Liberty tours.

   A great venue to experience the ambience of Upper New York Bay, The Battery and a slice of American History. Food and staff were excellent.

   Unfortunate experience. Started with poor table selection. The sever spoke at a whisper and took forever to take the order and deliver the food. Menu selection is limited. Nothing great. It used to be much better. Oh and it was it cool - felt like no AC.

   Service was absolutely great, kudos to the staff. However, I think that management can do better with the food.

   The main reason we like the place is for the wonderful views of New York harbor and the statue of Liberty. There's a good cocktail bar and decent food. It's too bad the government has taken most of the outdoor space for an ugly building. The janitors mops and buckets are where the Statue was. So if you can get one of the few outdoor tables left, it's ok. I'll be back when the construction is finished.

    Was overall very disappointed with the lack of service and general rudeness of the staff. One of our orders arrived very late and another order had a bug crawl out of the salad. Staff was careless and defensive when we voiced our concerns. I would recommend future customers look for alternative dining options, eating here was not enjoyable.
