   The food was not very good. We had had the shrimp gnocchi which was burnt and the Tuna dish which too was not very good. Loved the service, the atmosphere and the drinks were great. Unfortunately the food was not.

   We usually love the Vista, but this was an off night. The seared tuna was well done and I think they forgot the sauce as it was just a plate of cabbage. I was also told there’s no wine by the glass anymore just half bottles, but I think that was a mistake. We normally love this restaurant, so we’ll try it again I’m sure- it just didn’t come together this time.

   Food was amazing as always. The whipped goat cheese appetizer is to die for. The halibut is always a favorite. Very cozy setting and great service. Always a favorite of ours to eat at.

   We dined at Vista Saturday evening, Nov. 9th. It was a wonderful experience overall. Victoria B. was our server and she was an absolute delight! She was very attentive without hovering and made my husband’s meal even more special with an extra piece of cornbread accompanying his meatloaf (we had already eaten two baskets of cornbread between the 4 of us). Our food was delicious and we truly enjoyed our evening. Can’t wait to go back!

   We’ve dined here a couple times before and unfortunately this trip was not our favorite. We were seated inside circle booth at my request which was great. Our party didn’t order alcohol and because water jugs are set on the table, we were kind of forgotten about. I recommend servers shouldn’t lose sight of filling water glasses even when the bottle is set on the table. This would help them also keep on top of kitchen staff to figure out where the order is. We ordered an appetizer with our water and after 30 minutes had to ask where the appetizer was. It came out shortly after and didn’t taste very fresh. Another 20 minutes went by and we had to flag our server down to find out where our entrees were since we had been seated for an hour at this point. Come to find out our server was working a party of 16 outside! Restaurant management should have seen this party and shifted accordingly in order to assign our server solely on that table and we should have had another server. She was trying to manage 5-6 tables which was clearly overwhelming. We still tipped her well because I realized it wasn’t completely her fault that she was being pulled too far. Also, the outdoor staff should not be split between in and out. Just too much to keep up with in my opinion. Our entrees, unfortunately, were a little bland which is definitely not normal for our experience. We were seated about 20 minutes late of our 7pm reservation and didn’t leave the restaurant until about 915pm. We thought about getting dessert, but it just got too late.
