We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Walrus as usual. Their shucking raw bar is the best. Seafood is always fresh and delicious. Their staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Aaron was no exception. We went for Chesapeake Oyster week and half price on raw bar Tuesday so we enjoyed a great meal at a fantastic price. Highly recommend, going back real soon.

It’s Chesapeake Oyster week at Walrus.Happy Hour is 4pm-6pm.During Happy Hour LocalWilds Oysters are a 1.50 apiece. We had 2 dozen wilds and one dozen chef’s choice. The oysters were meaty, tasty and oh so delicious. We ordered a shrimp cocktail off the Happy Hour menu and an order of mussels from the happy hour menu.It felt like we were dining in Mystic,CT. Everything was great and the prices are very reasonable.Service was fabulous. We had 2 great waiters Zack and Nadir.Chesapeake Oyster festival ends March 31st.Do yourself a favor and get to the Walrus Oyster and Ale House in Columbia Maryland before the oyster festival ends. You will be glad you did

First time here. Food was very good and portions were great. Clam chowder was flavorful and had a lot of clams. The branzino was cooked perfectly and my husbands steak was also cooked to his desired med rare. Our grandchild had the kids salmon with fruit… she loves it!

The food was great, service quick. I was surprised how quickly our food came for a Friday night. The waitress was a little careless in not taking down my order correctly, but she quickly remediated and brought my order back correctly.

Excellent service! Need more servers like Moe to get exceptional experience not only with the food but the ambiance. Hats off to the chef for an amazing menu.

Our service was good, I was a bit uncomfortable with the seating choice provided. The outside sheltered room isn’t as appealing in ugly weather. Food was worth the visit surely.
