We got there to celebrate my spouse’s birthday right on time for reservation, on a Saturday, nothing else available in town. We were well welcomed, sat down and after 45 min no one came to give us water or take our orders.. total disrespect. We then left the restaurant and got asked why we were leaving. We said we weren’t helped and the front desk said “oh, they must haven’t seen you”. There were over 10 waiters in the salon. I was calling them. We ate 10$ hot dogs in front of the restaurant. Not ok.

Birthday dinner for my daughter’s 21st. Table for 8. Requested and seated at a window table overlooking the water - thank you! Lovely drinks - cocktails looked good and came quick. They got us started on drinks as and when people arrived - perfect. Lovely service - attentive, responsive and fast! Food was on point. We got pancetta prawns for the table and they were great - very well cooked and still hot when served. Nice little kick in the avocado based dressing they came with. I had the Halibut paired with a glass or 2 of Chardonnay and both were very very good. French fries were similarly spectacular. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Outdoor heaters work very well - and we were very comfortable. We look forward to coming back!

Everything was great except for the fact that it took 25 minutes to get our first drink and we had to remind our server 3 times. Not sure what the bartender was doing but otherwise, our main server was great and the food was all delicious (and came our very quickly). And the drinks, when the finally came, were yummy too but we probably would have had another round if the drinks had come out faster than a snail.

Last minute decision to try Waterfront - have visited SF many times, passed by but never stopped to have a meal here. We were able to make a reservation for 2 on a Saturday night, seated us right away, corner table on the water, great views including the sunset. Service was excellent, food selection and quality very good and a nice glass of refreshing wine. Great experience, definitely be back soon!

Better than expected given mixed reviews. Great gems salad and risotto with fresh peas and shoots, and scallops. Excellent creative amaro fig spritzer. Surprisingly flavorless clam chowder. Meh chocolate brownie. Very pretty and service very good. Moderate expensive considering ambiance and location with open bay and bridge views. The original building is quite beautiful, the tented/added enclosed patio has the views, so you pick your preference.
