   Our service was fantastic! There were "popovers" served with their own in-house butter, which was amazing. [It reminded me of the ones my nanny from Ireland used to make!] We encountered a minor hiccup, but we were fortunate to meet one of the owners, DAVE, who made everything more than right! While plenty of places offer a nice meal, very few provide the combination of excellent customer service and a family-style atmosphere. We can't thank Dave enough for going out of his way to ensure our experience was seamless.

   Very busy place and it seemed like the hostesses didn’t have it under control. The owner/manager needed to step in. He was great and accommodating. I don’t know if we will be back.

   Came here for Valentines Day with my Fiancé, was looking forward to try it out for the first time. We were sat quickly, greeted within minutes and received our drinks relatively fast. Our entire order was taken within 10 minutes of being there and received our appetizers about 15 minutes later. We got the jumbo pretzel and the bacon wrapped filet mignon tips. Pretzel was good, bacon wrapped filet was okay. Took about 50 minutes to receive our entrees, which to me was a bit long, even for Valentine’s Day where they did not seem THAT busy. My fiancé had the gnocchi in vodka sauce and I ordered the short ribs. His entree was pretty good, but the short rib seemed like it went in a bath of salt. The 1 bite of short rib I took with the Demi Glacé on it had enough salt in that one bite, for that entire dish lol I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 17 years and am currently a General manager of 2 restaurants. If I knew a guest had an issue with a dish, 1. I would address the guest 2. I would not let the server handle the situation in which was not smooth on his part at all. I originally asked for his opinion on what to get, after sending my meal back, his response to me was “ha guess you should have gotten the other dish”. Word of advice from one general manager too another, 1, have your cooks taste their food, 2. As a general manager , interact with your guests and correct situations. I will not be returning.

   Our waitress was great, but tonight was a very long dinner. The wait times from the kitchen were excessive. Food came out perfectly cooked and there were busy, but it was almost 2 hours for dinner.

    Staff were very nice and attentive; restaurant was packed and everyone appeared to be enjoying. Good selection of food and beverage at reasonable prices.
