    The Whitehall Restaurant is one of the very best places to eat in Leeds. I would say the best but I don’t want it to be difficult for us to get a table!

    The chicken was delicious, and the Venison wellington was really good, however, there was a few issues with the other dishes. The black truffle pasta didn’t taste of truffle at all, and we had to ask for more flavouring which came out in the form of truffle oil that we had to mix in ourselves. The sauce was watery and had no depth of flavour. The King prawns and scallops were quite cold, and the battered prawns were overcooked. The service was friendly but average, as they seemed understaffed and left a long time between courses.

    For reference, my friend and I had the Sunday lunch. It was absolutely delicious and the beef was a good non-fatty cut that was cooked to perfection. We then followed the meal with (as daft as it seems to point out) one of the creamiest, most tasty Baileys coffees we've ever had. We will absolutely be returning in the future.
