   This brunch at the Wigwam was wayyy overpriced at $271 for 2 persons. The ballroom was noisy. The food set up was ok in a square like setup, the 3 person music was nice but toooo loud. They were situated in the middle of the food set up. The dessert table was almost an afterthought, off to the left of the main brunch table, and was meager at best. Given the price, the decor was poor. the flowers at each table was perfunctory. the same with the flowers placed around the buffet table. The food was good with many options. There was not enough servers to keep drinks filled. the one mimosa per adult was not great, the champagne was cheap. It was easy to move around the food square. We will not return given the reasons stated above.

   At no point did the reservation or advertisement suggest or warn the Wigwam was going to charge a $80 processing fee or automatically add a 20% tip at check in. Tipping is an expected price of dining out, but to not warn this was a mandated price, no matter the service level, and the fee is bad business. Nobody likes a 80 dollar surprise.

   Food was Excellent Salmon, Shrimp , Prime Rib amaingly prepared and displayed. Staff was great friendly quick. Music was very good not overwheling creating a nice background. Tables were spaced good for a large hall as to give you enough space. Overall wperience was A+ Only small negative was the suprise when paying up front adding the tax and gratuity, it wasnt bad especially when the service was great.

   My family has attended many special events at the Wigwam Resort and have always enjoyed the occasion and also the food selections. I would recommend anyone who wants to thoroughly enjoy themselves and also have a great menu to choose from, to schedule their get together at the Wigwam Resort.

   We loved the variety offered at the buffet. The live band was great as well. All of the staff was very friendly. Great experience.

   “For the Love of Bubbles “ was a fantastic experience. Chef Chris provided a very informative and engaging presentation on champagne. We will definitely attend next time it’s offered! Cheers!

   The event began at 6:30 PM, but dessert wasn’t served until after 9 PM, which made the pacing feel unnecessarily long. There was also a clear disconnect between Lisa Peju from Peju Winery and the event staff. Lisa mentioned that guests could enjoy a second glass of wine, but when we inquired, the staff declined. Additionally, we were told by a Peju representative that individual bottles would be available for purchase after the event. However, the staff informed us that only full cases were being sold. This inconsistency was frustrating and confusing. While the wine itself was outstanding and reasonably priced, the service between courses was extremely slow. Members of our party mentioned that this seems to be typical for these events, and the quality of the food can be hit or miss. Given the overall experience, I would recommend Cooper’s Hawk in Peoria over Wigwam Litchfield’s for a more reliable and enjoyable evening.

   This was a Peju wine dinner. The Peju rep told us to ask for refills on the paired wines… Wigwam refused..said they hadn’t ordered enough wine to give seconds . There were 5 courses. Hors d’evores were not good. The next 2 courses were good then the final 2 courses were tough, gamey and inedible! Do not attend any Wigwam dining function…you will be disappointed!

    This has become our family tradition since our grand daughter arrived. This was our 4th annual the first being when she was just a few months old. We love our time with Santa and taking photos to remember each year. Santa was especially jolly this year! Food was very good and a wonderful selection. Service and price are 4 stars because this was the first year we had to look for our waiter when needing a refill on drinks. And with price it is high but all things are these days, and I am appreciative of the Wigwam giving us this wonderful tradition to create with our kids. Thank you!
