We dined at the Wilbur to celebrate our 40th anniversary. It was the perfect choice. I had the lobster ravioli, hubby had the sea bass, and we shared the peanut butter chocolate dessert. Gorgeous setting, delicious food.

While the atmosphere was amazing (the mansion is beautiful and has tons of charm), the service was extremely slow and the staff were inattentive. The drinks were delicious but the time between ordering and actually receiving was annoying. The food was just ok not outstanding as we expected. Our party had the pork chop (slightly overcooked) and the crabcakes (well portioned but I’ve had better). The raw oysters and the mussel appetizers were delicious, however. Once we asked for the check, it took another 25 minutes to process, which was ridiculous. I’m glad we tried it but I won’t be going back!

A nice night out as always! There were a few bumps, but nothing major: The amuse bouche needed to be warmer. Our waitress was overwhelmed with too many tables and she was also new - she kept forgetting about us. It look around 20-30 minutes for the dessert to reach us. However, the entrees were amazing! I really enjoyed the Mahi Mahi and my wife loved the Chicken Roulade. We took the desserts home with us, and they also were tasty. The waitress comped our desserts which I thought was tremendously sweet! Cocktails were on point, but extremely pricey. If you like to drink, pregame (safely) at home and enjoy one there. The rooms can get quite noisy, but overall a nice place to enjoy a fine meal out.

We went on a Monday night. Seems like something happened at the bar. It took almost 35 minutes to get our drinks. We were a party of 3. Dinner took over one hour and the waitress who was very apologetic told us they ran out of items on menu. Both dinner items and a dessert. Kinda disappointing. Pretty place but the people even next to us were not happy. Would not go out of our way to recommend this restaurant. Sorry.

Hello Nancy I wanted to apologize for your negative experience here at the Wilbur. I would also like to speak with you further so at your earliest convenience please reach out to me at the Restautant. I am also a little confused, you said you were here on Monday night but we are closed on Monday's, so I am assuming you were here Sunday night? I try to address any service or food complaints right away with my staff, so I want to make sure I know who was working when you were here.

In a time when "casual dining" is a thing, it was refreshing to spend an evening at The Wilbur with it's cozy, warm ambience, semi-formal atmosphere. Host and servers were polite and professional. My spouse and i arrived a bit early so we could enjoy the bar. We were not disappointed. Service was prompt, the cocktails were perfect and the setting was comfortable surrounded by antique wood panels and a. glorious stained glass window. The esgarcot appetizer was tasty and the Ahi tuna special was a great choice. My only gentle criticism is that the tuna could have been prepared tartare. Overall, a very nice dining experience. We will be back.

Food was excellent and the drinks were even better! We went for dinner before a Phantoms game this past weekend with out-of-town friends that we're always trying to show new local restaurants. We were there early due to our schedule so the dining rooms were not very full, but the service was excellent, the drinks were on point and our dinner was delicious. The espresso martini and winter white cosmo were the winners! Loved the charcuterie board! The pork chop, crab cakes and the polenta were all so good. The sauces in particular. Sadly we did not have time for dessert. But we'll be back!

Food was great but took a while to reach the table even when the restaurant wasn’t especially busy. Service was very friendly but again a bit slow (took us forever for them to come take our credit card after asking for the bill. Ambience was fantastic, nice for a special occasion.

Nice decor, good food, friendly staff. The main courses were good the eggplant appetizer was soso. It’s way too vinegary. Cocktails was great.
