Located on the west side of Billings, the Windmill/Bar 51 is a fantastic place to wind down from a hectic day. Casual fine dining, happy hour, full bar & best patio in town! We leave the patio to first come, first served. We do not reserve the patio.

    I had a piece of meat that was subpar. The windmill went above and beyond to take care of the situation. I have eaten here multiple times, this made me very happy with the way they took care of it. I will 100% return to this establishment.

    It is a lovely restaurant. My friend and I sat in a booth, but even that had great ambiance. C. had the salmon (delicious!); and I had the battered prawns--also delicious. Entree came with a choice of soup or salad plus a side. All very good. Their chardonnay was also very good. Will definitely return

    In the past, it has been pretty good, but at this visit, all of our food was incredibly over-salted, some to the point of not being edible. We may try it again at some point, but will probably wait a while.

    The staff at Windmill are very attentive and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their food. We went twice this week!
