The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer. We hope we do it well.

                                                      We had a wonderful time at Woollen Mills. We dined there for Valentine's Day, and the quality of the dishes offered was excellent and very well crafted. The service was attentive and very responsive to our needs. Unfortunately, we had to leave the restaurant because my partner wasn't feeling very well, and even then, the service was attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.

                                                      Went here for valentines and it was amazing. The steak and chips was 10/10. Brownie for dessert and Baileys ice cream was godly. Great and friendly staff and lovely atmosphere

                                                      Food was delicious with lots of choice and there was loads of drink options including some very nice cocktails. The service was fast and efficient and our server was knowledgeable and helpful with our dinner option selection. Great night out
