   One of the best pubs in Charlotte. Only gap is the poor music. Some better music, maybe even traditional Irish some nights would make this fantastic spot even better.

   The food wasn’t that great. Everything had great presentation but wasn’t impressed. For the price it was fine. The mussels were probably the best. The Shepards pie needed more meat and less potatoes on top. The stew had way too much rosemary. Cute ambience in the back but more like a romantic pub.

   Decent food but nothing to write home about. Super busy on the weekend’s and very loud. Will continue to go back.

   This is a neighborhood favorite for the pub feeling without leaving the US. Great food and amazing service.

   Best pint of Guinness in Charlotte. You have an old world feel and it’s great to see people talking to each other like they did 100 years ago

   We enjoyed an early dinner at the Workman’s Friend on a Sunday evening. The food was delicious and our server, Gabby, was delightful and helpful. The curried hummus, pub salad, cast iron chicken entree, and Guinness chocolate cheesecake were excellent (we split the chicken entree). The restaurant is boisterous in the bar area, but cozy in the dining area that includes a fireplace. We will be back.

   Cute, genuine, non-chain place in a nice block of restaurants and unique shops. Well above average food. I had excellent potato gnocchi.

    Had a wonderful meal with family this morning. Everyone enjoyed the drinks and delicious food. Service was very good. We were on our way to the Expo Center, so appreciated the fast and friendly service. Will come back with hubby for dinner.
