I've now eaten at the Yard several times. So that must say something. Fresh, modern Italian food and perfectly cooked and presented. I've eaten with friends and also taken larger group bookings and no one has anything other than high praise and very clean plates!

I complained about the steak being very tough and inedible to two of the staff but no interest was shown and no explanation was requested. The restaurant was very quiet at 6pm sunday afternoon but the prime interest from the restaurant seemed to be focused upon receiving payment. I think this is the only "Italian" restaurant I have been to where they do not serve garlic bread as a side or extra and I would not eat there again nor recommend it.
