The GOOD PART: The food is stunningly beautiful, super creative and delicious. The BAD PART: The Yasai is basically a diner as far as ambience: no frills, tables close together, bright lights. The service is very MEH. Don’t expect your appetizer to come out first or anything like that. Everything gets dumped out on the table in a kind of “wham bam, thank you ma’m” style. Very stingy with condiments such as soy sauce. The soy sauce was brought to the table in a tiny (and I mean tiny!!!) dish, and the amount barely covered the bottom of the dish… it was laughable. Had to ask for another and the same thing was produced… It still wasn’t enough for the amount of food on the plate.

Yasai is one of our favorite ramen spots. The staff is always friendly and helpful, even going so far as to suggest ramen options based on our preferences. It’s a must-visit for ramen lovers.

This was the best vegan sushi we have had. The food was so worth it. We ordered the Stressed Out from the Yasai specialty and Triple Tomato and Tantan Men from the Ramen menu. Everyone liked the dish they ordered. Good experience to see sushi made by the chef behind the open counter. The indoor seating was comfortable and the ambience was lovely. We will be visiting again to try out other dishes.

Everyone raves about this place, and probably for good reason. However, if you eat gluten-free, don't go here. They can't do much to accommodate. They say they can make certain items gluten-free, but what you'll get is a very small, sad, and flavorless dish, with half the ingredients omitted (not swapped), for the same price.

We were excited about our reservation, we were early and was willing to wait. We were offered seating ay Raki-Raki but with the Yasai menu along with Raki-Raki’s. Given the reservation we made, we were seated at the very corner, with sun rays on us, we can barely look at each other, and was covering our faces inside the restaurant. Very unpleasant experience. Plus the vegan food is absolutely not great, at all. Will not return.

We had a very good experience. This is a great choice if you have either a full vegan/vegetarian party or a mixed group. The food is made in separate kitchens, and the vegan dishes are unique and inventive - not just dishes without meat. The service is great. They are dog-friendly and were able to accommodate us with a table near the door. It can be a little pricey but I think it's worth it for the quality and presentation. We'll be returning shortly for our anniversary because we were so pleased with the last meal we had.

Love the food at Yasai but the service needs some work. We waited 30 mins just to have someone take our order and it was tough to get water or utensils from the server. And no one checked in on us during the meal. Overall, the food is delicious. But the service is slow and the servers are not friendly and welcoming.
