   The food was awful. Small portions of dried out fish, cold vegetables, stale bread. The drinks were very expensive. We sat outside and the flies were sticky. Basically a bad experience, we will definately not go again.

   The food was good—we loved it. However, my burger and my husband’s steak didn’t seem to be cooked to order. It felt like they had been sitting in the kitchen for too long and were only served when it was time for the mains. The service was also a bit too slow. I also suggest more options to be added in the mains.

   The owners have created an amazing vibe with great decor, happy and positive staff and delicious food. A sophisticated gem in the middle of regional Victoria. Perfect for couples or parties. The night we came, there was live music which got the crowd rocking.

   Exceptional service. Lea and Tiffanie were smart, polite, knowledgeable and amiable. I enjoyed my well presented and timely meal with drinks attended to efficiently. The room has a smart elegant feel. All round a very good comfortable experience. Highly recommended.

    The service was excellent and the venue was quiet, but needs to be updated. It did feel a bit like I’d returned to the 80’s. The two French waitresses were sensational in the service. I did order a steak rare and it came out medium/well done, however the taste was great! The wine selection was nice and the Shiraz I had was lovely. Although it felt like I was stepping back in time with the decor and ambience and my steak was not cooked to my liking, the positives still outweighed the negatives and I’d recommend anyone to give the York a try.
