The redesign and atmosphere looks terrific. Menu good and food was good but my fish was cold upon first bite. Server was super kind but not attentive so I could not even let them know. We would have had more drinks but it was hard to even catch someone to get them. We never even got another place setting despite our reservation for x amount of people so had to share forks and napkins. After paying the bill we sat and chatted longer and finally our server asked us to leave so she could go home. We were done ordering but just chatting and not needing service. I thought it was a little rude but we were almost ready to leave anyway.

The new jockey Tavern is absolutely gorgeous. It’s one of the best remodels I’ve ever seen. Each room has A different feel and theme. You can’t even believe you’re in the same restaurant as McKenzies. This is probably my fifth or sixth time there since the remodel and I was a frequenter of McKenzie‘s prior for many years. A month or so ago I had the shrimp and scallop curry, and I typically don’t like curry and it was absolutely delicious. There was like five huge scallops. They were cooked as good as any seafood or steakhouse and I told my friend and she decided to get it. I got the miso salmon with drunken noodles. My food came out beautifully prepared just a little spicier than I would’ve liked but very delicious and still had leftovers. Her food - she said it tasted good, but there was like one scallop in the whole dish. The waitress had commented that it was a very popular dish, so I don’t know if they were running low, but they would’ve been better off to tell her that it was not available if they didn’t have enough to completely satisfy the order. That’s the only reason I’m giving the food and the value less than five stars I do highly recommend getting a reservation. Had we not had one we never would’ve gotten in. See that they are really doing the business. It is definitely worth checking out. For the ambience alone. It’s Gorgeous .

Great food- crab and artichoke app and beet salad. Drink was tasty but a bit too strong. My only complaint! There was a gentleman playing piano in the bar and that was really nice.
