The Jockey Tavern impresses with "delicious food" and a "fantastic ambiance." Guests rave about the elegant renovations and cozy atmosphere. Standout dishes include the Miso Salmon and Chicken Marsala. Unfortunately my meat was a little burnt on the outside, I would say over priced for what you get. Just ok. Server was nice but not very attentive. Needed to ask for refills. I liked the atmosphere.

First time at Jockey Tavern . We really loved the jockey ambience. it was really well done with the fireplace etc. A nicely varied menu for lunch or dinner. The salmon bowl was excellent as well as the Jambalaya my husband had. Portions are perfect. The bar area is more noisy. Our server was excellent. we will definitely go back.

It was great for a first time there. The only thing that was disappointing was the nachos. I feel like they need guacamole or something to make it more tasty. Otherwise everything else was good.

We were there early enough to take advantage of the happy hour food and drink specials. The Old Fashions were great. We ordered the Artichoke and Crab dip plus an order of the Deviled Eggs as appetizers. For dinner we had the French Dip sandwich and the Shrimp and Scallop Coconut Currie. Food and service was very good as well.

We were there early on a Friday night. We made reservations through Open Table. It was packed with lines out the door when we left. The new decor matches the great new menu. Makenzie’s has for a hit! We will be back. We were so smart to use open table. From the looks of the line many many people weren’t as smart as us.. and we weren’t made to feel rushed at all. There was a birthday party near us and people were coming and going from that and not being rushed out at all. We will be back and use open table and possibly uber because no matter how big the parking lot is it may not be big enough.

Dined for first time with friends on 12/12/24. Mocktails, French onion soup, deviled eggs, hamburger, apple rolls, all delicious! The waitress was very (but not too) attentive and friendly. The beautiful woodwork and decor were very warm and the changing, framed, digital, equestrian art was a nice touch to the theme! Competitive prices. Highly recommend!
