Third and Main is a top-of-the-line steak house and tavern in historic Aurora, IN. From in house dry aging our steaks to carrying the largest selection of wagyu beef in the Midwest, we have it all. If steak isn't your favorite we also have a fresh seafood selection weekly with a full sushi and raw bar.

Located in one of the oldest operating taverns in Indiana, Third and Main carries on the historic traditions with an upscale menu in a casual atmosphere. Just a short drive from Cincinnati along the Ohio River, this family-owned and operated restaurant is a great place to get away from the bustle of city living.

Our 120 year old bar is fully-stocked with over 275 different bourbons, domestic, import and craft beers and a variety of select wines we feature proudly. Stop in and have a seat at our 120 year old bar to see why Third and Main is a local Tri-State favorite.

We went for my husband’s 40th birthday, but no mention of it even though I put it in the comments what we were celebrating. The food was absolutely amazing! The server was good but he hadn’t tasted anything and could only give “popular opinions”. Lilly, the hostess, was a breath of fresh air! The ambience of the restaurant could be better… add some table decor (candles), maybe table cloths, soft music?!

A lovely little nook in the center of cozy Aurora. Menu features several varieties of Wagyu beef, some seafood entrees and an entire sushi menu. Waitstaff were so friendly and professional. Food was perfectly prepared and I enjoyed the eclectic beer and wine menu. The bartender mixed a very good old fashioned, I told the waiter I like to taste the booze and he didn't disappoint.

Great service from the hostess through paying the bill. Our Australian wagyu steaks were exceptional and the truffle butter was the best we’ve ever had! So glad we went, was worth the drive to Aurora.
