   Unfortunately the place was dirty, they squished our party of 5 into a table for 4 even though there were plenty of tables all around us; the hostess said she had reservations... Even though those tables sat empty the whole time we were there. The server skipped my dad and me when taking drink orders. Appetizer came before the drinks. My mom ordered an ice tea, but 10 minutes later the server said she was making fresh one and it would take 5 more minutes. We ended up just getting a diet coke and my dad just drank water. We asked for lemons, but they never came. Never got Appetizer plates or utentils. Had to ask for silverware when the meals arrived. Food actually tasted pretty good. Server never suggested anything... We would have ordered dessert but didn't even want to bother at this point. We noticed that the iced tea that my mom originally ordered was still on the check (twice for whatever reason). Poor service, dirty floors, poor management, high prices. No thanks.

   The atmosphere is nice and food is usually solid. Wasn’t a fan of the artichoke dip though.

   We had a big group on a busy St Patrick’s Day evening with reservations. We were seated immediately and our servers were hustling. Food was hot and well presented. Good job Thirsty Lion.

   I’ve eaten here before and food has always been great, but last night’s St Patrick’s corn beef and cabbage was below expectations 😂

   The food was absolutely delicious. We went at 9:00 for the happy hour and it was a great value. We had several appetizers and each an entree. The service was great I highly recommend the place it was wonderful.

   I have had consistently excellent experiences at Thirsty Lion in Gilbert. This visit we enjoyed their St Patrick’s Day specials which were very good, as well as well made martinis. The bacon wrapped shrimp was an excellent appetizer to start. Our server Azul did a great job, and made our visit really nice.

    If you’re black and want to be starred down by a bunch of nonblack people don’t come here. The food is subpar at best and the ambiance was not a comfortable feeling. We also watched our food sit in the window for 20 minutes and it was cold when we got it.
