   I ordered the Ahi Poke Bowl and requested the ahi be cooked through. It was cooked perfectly and i really enjoyed my salad bowl. I thought it was expensive, though ... I've had poke bowls elsewhere that are just as delicious but for less cost.

   I’ve been coming to Thirsty Lion for about 11 years. This has been the spot for my family and I. You may ask yourself “wow, that’s a long time, what is so great about this place?” And I’ll tell ya… it’s because they have always been consistent with the quality of food, service, reasonable prices, and most importantly they have an amazing birthday celebration with a sundae and a card with signatures from all the staff. I could name three things from the menu off the top of my head that I would give a 5 star right now, the food isn’t the problem. The problem is two things, the constant increase in prices while the portions get smaller and service quality. Again, been coming here awhile, that’s not to say there aren’t good servers. The servers that I find myself hoping to get when I walk in are Corry, Alex (both are great), Michael, Colleen, Denis, or Becky. The service is a hit with these guys, anyone else it’s hit or miss. I came to this location with some friends this past weekend on a Sunday (which I usually come on the weekdays so it was busier than usual but nonetheless this report is valid) all my friends were excited to try because I’ve hyped it up so much and with no exaggeration we saw my waitress twice in two hours. I didn’t get her name but we saw her when she took our order and when she came to give us the check… The food wait usually takes a little “long” but I’m used to the wait time, it’s the fact there was zero check in, no care to ask about refills etc etc. This past experience was my last straw with this location specifically. If you want to try Thirsty Lion I would say it’s great but at this point in time I would recommend you to the Tanasbourne location. The staff there is friendly and always attentive doesn’t matter what day of the week it is.

   Service was friendly and efficient. Coffee refills were rare. Otherwise food and experience was a thumbs up!

   we had Alex as our server, you will never find one as personable as she is. We were there for hours, she let us chat and stopped by to check on us. The food was brought to us by a friendly server, who chatted a bit. All and all I love going here , you feel relaxed and welcome.

   The food is good. Lots of choices. Good service. They do add a 3% charge to food and beverage’s orders to “allow them to pay their staff well?) are they paying a higher wages? Not sure how that should affect the tip? I would rather it just be baked into the prices. You can ask for it to be removed. Tables are very close It is loud. But still would go back.

   Made a reservation for 2pm for a private booth. Didn’t get seated until 2:30. Noticed they sat some young kids at a booth shortly after we arrived. I let them know we reserved a booth and the girls face dropped like she knew she messed up. Our appetizer had a long hair in it to top off the date. It was a very bad experience and won’t be going back.
