Every dish ordered was tasteless. the Seabass ordered was very fishy and undercooked . Tuna tartare was very bland and could have used more flavor . Salad dressing was bitter, and unfortunately, had to ask for a ranch or some type of dressing . Grilled shrimp was tasteless and had to ask for salt and pepper . Lobster pasta also had no taste . Going to this place I had high expectations and unfortunately, my guests and I were disappointed.

The 4 of us were warmly greeted upon arrival - asked if we had time to sit at the bar. 2 draft beers were on tap & the men order one only to be told they were out of it. We 2 ladies asked for the wine list & waited 5 minutes to get it. Chose a bottle of Chardonnay & looking for it for 10 minutes were told they were out. Back to the list - he suggested another which they had (nice bottle) By now the men were done their beers. upon entering our intimate dining room we were asked if we wanted the bright end or the dark end (which had NO lighting of any kind) we chose the 'light' - there were no people dining in the 'dark side'. Needed table lamps or any kind of lighting to warm the entire room. Oyster appetizer & salads were served all at the same time - not giving us time to really enjoy the oysters. 2 of us had to try & get the waiters attention to ask for more dressing for the wedge salads - plenty of cheese but little or no dressing on it. By now our partners were 1/2 way thru their salads. The sea bass and lamb dinners were excellent. Trio of creme brulee were good. Service was poor - particularly for a high end dining experience. No bar tender - we should have been to told about the beer and wines they were out before we spent time choosing one. The waiter explained that they were swamped with all the 7:00 pm reservations (including ours) the 3 of them could not handle it. I though Open Table and all the 'rules' regarding timing would have prevented this. There were several empty tables . We were looking forward to this evening but left with a big bill & a disappointing evening.

We finally reserved a table at Thompson Manor, after it's been open for over a year and were looking forward to the experience. As noted by many, it is pricey, mainly due to the a la carte menu - everything is 'extra' and definitely not reasonably priced. I ordered a cheaper pasta dish and my partner ordered a ribeye with a side of potato and mushroom. We also shared a bottle of the house wine. The place was not busy at all, in fact I counted 3 tables occupied in addition to ours. Our salad came in a timely manner but then we waited over an hour for our main meal. The waiter came around once to check - we asked for our water to be filled and inquired about when our main course would arrive. When it did arrive, the meal was uninspiring - for that price point I should be leaving with rave reviews. My pasta dish was tasteless and we even questioned whether the piece of meat we received was even a ribeye. When we questioned the waiter again for the reason for the long delay we were told that they have a new chef (no excuse). He did offer us another glass of wine on the house, which in my opinion was the least that could've been done. I doubt very much that we will come back as the whole experience left me disappointed and $250 poorer.

First time dining here. Good selection between fish, steaks, seafood and chicken. Prices are on the high end, but the setting and food quality are excellent. A bit of traffic noise on the patio. We split the wedge salad, ordered seafood risotto, pickeral, and an order of brussel sprouts, and three drinks total. My wife had a coffee. Bill before tip was $197. A good place to eat, and I would go back, just not cheap.
