We were skeptical about the restaurant seeing a few bad reviews but we went anyway for dinner on Christmas. It was fabulous! The decor was off the charts in such a beautiful space. Excellent service and food. Enchanting dinner experience!

This is a beautiful place. Our waiter was awesome. It was cold, because the air was too high and the food was not good. The menu was very very disappointing for Christmas day. Maybe it’s different if you go for a normal dinner, but we set our hopes so high And had a huge disappointment.

The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous per the Christmas decorations. Brunch was very reasonable on Christmas Day. I really enjoyed the smash burger, but I think I'd recommend this place most for the setting if anywhere near Dripping Springs.

We had the set menu on Christmas Eve. The food tasted wonderful, but the temperatures were off a bit. Understanding it was served buffet style, but the sterno burners did not keep the food as warm/hot as it should have been. Was surprised that the "selection of desserts" included only cookies. We definitely expected a more decadent selection. A suggestion for future dinners would be to include a second vegetable option and a potato offering. The atmosphere was lovely - Ian's Chapel was beautiful. The staff were attentive and helpful. We arrived early and they were able to accommodate us earlier than our reservation time, which was very much appreciated.

Our server was amazing but the menu presented was different than what was on line. The fixed menu was overpriced for the food we received. I also asked to be placed at a table vs a booth and the hostess told us none available eventhough a table behind us sat empty the entire time as well as multiple tables. We were underneath a vent which was blowing cold air with a breeze the entire dinner. There were multiple managers walking around but none stopped at our Table to che k in. Our waiter was amazing and even brought us a blanket! But to spend $1000.00 on dinner for 5 for the quantity and quality of food and bad table was disappointing!

The restaurant was beautiful and the service was great. However, the food left something to be desired. It was way overpriced for what we had and I wasn’t told that there would be a set menu beforehand. The food did not taste good and seemed like it had been sitting for a while before we received it. It was cold and the portions were tiny. Definitely worth seeing but I would not recommend eating here.

We went to Ian’s Chapel for Christmas Eve. The food was decent, roasted vegetables were raw. Service was excellent but the ambiance was really lacking. We love Tillie’s during the holidays because of the decorations and expected something similar for our Christmas Eve experience at Ian’s Chapel.

We were so incredibly disappointed. First of all, is your wait staff over the age of 18? The hostess that seated us could not have been 16 years old. So unprofessional for an upscale restaurant. Our waiter was beyond annoying in his presentation and communication style. I’ve never experienced anything like this ever. The food. there was no cohesion to it AT ALL. Please tell me how scallop ceviche, pork belly, spaghetti and quail even begin to go together? It was cold, not good and $500 for 3 people!!!!!!Are you kidding me? I’ve never been more disappointed and hated paying that check. What an overrated mess. Too bad, the place is lovely. Horrible experience

What a beautiful space and in a scenic area. We enjoyed the drive in from Austin. The prix fixe menu was delicious and they even swapped out ingredients on the opening dish to allow for my husband’s allergy. Holiday themed cocktails were on point as well.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed both the scenic drive and your dining experience with us. It’s always our pleasure to accommodate dietary needs, and we’re glad the ingredient swap on the opening dish worked well for your husband. Hearing that you enjoyed our holiday-themed cocktails truly makes our day. We look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable experience! Happy holidays! Thank you Chris Marshall Director of Food & Beverage
