This was our second visit to Tito and Pep. It was our anniversary and we wanted to enjoy a special dinner at a place we normally don't travel to since we live on the other side of Tucson. We first visited Tito and Pep for our son's birthday and had a wonderful memory of that experience. This visit did not disappoint! Even with a 5:30 reservation, the place was quite busy when we walked in. We were greeted promptly and congratulated on our anniversary (a nice touch). We were taken to a nice corner two top which gave us a great view of the entire restaurant. The only issue with this table was it's location directly under an AC vent. Our server was very friendly and professional greeting us warmly. Cocktails and wine ( surprised to see a Portuguese wine on the menu which is not common in Tucson) were great. We ordered one of the special appetizers - a wonderfully prepared yellow tail in a citrus broth surrounded by thinly shaved cucumber, radish and a hint of jalapeno. It was refreshing delicious. We also shared the octopus appetizer, as we did on our last visit. T&P does octopus really well as it is easy to overcook it rendering it tough to chew. Our entrees were excellent! My wife had the Salmon and I had the mesquite grilled pork chop served with sweet potato . Both dishes were excellent. We were looking forward to this night and T&P did not disappoint. This is a very popular place as evidenced by the crowd on a Monday night. Definitely worth a visit. The only negative I have is that the parking situation can be challenging given the location on Speedway which is a very busy and densely packed road. T&P is a Tucson standout and deserves to be supported by the community.

Tito and Pep is consistently excellent at food and service. The menu reflects the southwest in a sophisticated way. Just the smell of the mesquite grill in the parking lot brings a smile of anticipation of a great meal. When the tables are full, not an unusual event, the noice level is high; that said, the atmosphere is vibrant, eclectic and comfortable.

A must dine in Tucson. Modern SW Mexican. Have the crudo, calamari, beet salad, shrimp, pork. Can’t go wrong with anything including the inventive cocktails and desserts.

Great food, friendly service, unique dishes. We chose to enjoy multiple (4) small plates for our dinner - portions were generous and allowed us to have a nice sampling of food. And then had two desserts! Cocktails were enjoyable, and the grilled octopus is a must try

Excellent staff. Alex, our waiter, was friendly, patient, and attentive. Try the grilled octopus, it was very tender and tasty. I enjoyed the Rainbow trout and my husband liked the pork chop with sweet potatoes. The olive oil cake was so moist. It paired great with the homemade whipped cream and cherries.

Really lovely first experience...booked a table for a birthday celebration (for two). The staff was exceptionally friendly, informative, just the right amount of attention, knowledgeable about their offerings, etc....the food was fabulous...we enjoyed a salad, sea bass, great drinks, dessert and port. It was truly a wonderful experience.

Short seasonal menu with some vegan options. We had two salad/appetizers and the duck special. The salads (cold grilled asparagus and beets) were both excellent. The duck was also excellent and perfectly cooked. The charred vegetables on the side of the duck were also good but some were a little too charred. Wait staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions.
