Our restaurant focuses on sustainable meat culture in the Italian tradition. We particularly value the butcher's trade. The cattle of our long-time friend and supplier, star butcher Dario Cecchini, graze in the Pyrenees nature reserve at an altitude of 1,800 meters. We source our products from small farmers in Italy, whose product quality stands out from the average due to their appreciation of traditions and good protection of nature and animal products.

The menu is inspired by the cuisine of northern Italy in particular but we are always open to new ideas. Our chef Amodio Iezza lends his special touch to each dish, creating unusual combinations and artistic arrangements. He pays special attention to sustainability and is always setting new standards.

BAR

Northern Italy’s aperitivo culture is well and truly alive in our bar. Manager Richard Sandström offers frequent variations on the Negroni as well as other signature cocktails. Snacks are available till late.

Ich hatte Telefonisch im Voraus eine Kerze für den von mir bezahlten Nachtisch bestellt. Da das Essen das Geburtstagessen mit meiner Freundin war, sollte diese Kerze eine nette Geste sein und vorallem eine kleine Überraschung. Die Kerze kam natürlich nicht, trotz Rücksprache. Die Enttäuschung meinerseits kann man denke ich verstehen. So etwas darf nicht passieren. Nachdem ich es ansprechen musste und die Überraschung dahin war, haben wir wenigstens noch einen kostenlosen shot aufs Haus bekommen.

The Beef selection is excellent and it is prepared well. The Calves tongue was tender and flavorful. Nice Italian Wine list. Knowledgeable and friendly service.

Wir hatten für vier reserviert und kamen zu fünft was aber überhaupt kein Problem war. Das Restaurant ist wirklich empfehlenswert, lockere Atmosphäre, etwas zu dunkel, die Musik etwas zu laut. Die Beratung und Erklärung zu den angebotenen Fleischstücken ist richtig gut - das Steak Tatar war göttlich! Die Weinauswahl (ausschließlich Italiener) ist riesig, das hätten wir so nicht erwartet, umso besser. Das zubereitete Bistecca Fiorentina war nahezu perfekt. Alle waren am Ende satt und zufrieden.

One of my favourite Berlin restaurants. Lovely service and a much better steak offering than the typical American steakhouse.

The service was delightfully spirited and took great care of us. The bone marrow broth in the beginning was a tasty surprise, but nothing will come close to the Picana steak, it was positively the most tender and juicy Picana I ever had, and the suggestion to have it with some oil and pepper was terrific. Will definitely visit again.
