Burma (modernized name - Myanmar) is a Southeast Asian country about the size of Texas, tucked between India and China, is a home to various ethnic tribes, a melting pot of beautiful cultures. When it comes to taste-buds tingling cuisines, Burma has a lot to offer. It has been a passionate dream for Burma-born owners Kalvin and Poe to open a Burmese restaurant to be able to share their culinary culture. That dream came true in 2019 when Top Burmese opened as a virtual takeout only restaurant from a commissary kitchen in NW Portland. Due to its authenticity, made to order, home-style cooking, and Burmese hospitality, Top Burmese traditional and modern Burmese dishes became so popular effectively evangelizing the masses to become Burmese Food fans.     My favorite restaurant in Beaverton. Great food, lovely and unique ambiance, and wonderful attention to detail in their drinks, both non alcoholic and alcoholic.

    Beautiful ambiance, not enough staff to care for customers, a bit dirty feeling and the food was very salty. Probably will not go back.

    Theres’s a surprising depth of Burmese food in NYC. After having it in abundance in San Francisco I was pleasantly surprised to find a high quality Burmese restaurant in a Portland suburb on a random trip so I booked a team dinner here. The food was better the second time and I plan on coming back any time I’m in the area.

    Unfortunately, my experience with the fish fillet was disappointing. The fillet was over-fried to the point of being dry and tough, and it carried a strong taste of burnt oil, which completely overwhelmed the dish. This was not the fresh and flavorful seafood I was expecting. While the service was attentive, the quality of the food left much to be desired. I hope the restaurant takes note of this feedback to ensure their dishes are prepared with better care in the future.

    The ambiance is top notch! The food and service was a bit slow, but we were there at peak hours on a Saturday so it wasn't a big deal. Overall we had a great time and at one point the owner even came over to help our table which was a nice touch!
