Essen war gut, Service sehr schlecht. Es ist ein schöner Ort mit wirklich gutem französischen Essen (wir hatten die Ente und das Entrecôte). Beides hat wunderbar geschmeckt, auch unsere Cocktails. Aber richtig wohlfühlen konnte man sich trotzdem nicht: Weil man trotz Reservierung ewig in der kalten Tür stehen gelassen wurde, weil man nur kühl angeschaut und kaum mit einem kommuniziert wurde, weil man komplett ignoriert wurde (um zu zahlen, mussten wir selbst zum Kellner hingehen, da er und seine Kolleg:innen uns buchstäblich ignoriert haben). Ich verstehe es durchaus, wenn Servicekräfte mal gestresst sind. Aber das war so eine aufgesetzte Coolness, wir haben wirklich das Gefühl bekommen, es ist komplett egal, ob wir da sind oder nicht, wir sind nicht willkommen. Warum versteht denn dort niemand, wie wichtig guter Service (besonders in der gehobenen Gastronomie) ist?? Es war unser Hochzeitstag, was ich auch im Voraus angemerkt hatte. Auch das war ihnen völlig egal, wir wurden trotz Reservierung - mit dieser Notiz - an einem sehr ungemütlichen Tisch neben vielen anderen Leuten platziert. An einem vorigen Hochzeitstag waren wir im MontRaw (auch Torstraße, ähnliche Preisklasse), dort wurde uns gratuliert und es gab ein Glas Sekt aufs Haus. Geht also auch anders. Ich verstehe, dass bei so vielen Gästen man nicht immer die Hauptrolle spielt, völlig okay. Aber bei solchen Preisen kann man einfach besseren Service erwarten. Dieser hier war enttäuschend.
