Went there on a suggestion from a group on social media, really captivated by the mini chicken and waffles and the bottomless feature, however when we arrived we learned the bottomless option was $50 pp which did not include drinks and the things we can to taste weren't even available (chicken and waffles being the main thing) so that was a pointless/money wasted option. Service was submitted par there was only 5 tables occupied and it took so very 15 minutes for drinks to come out and food (and individual time points) the server Gabe was nice but not attentive. Loved the atmosphere, would recommend for like a work social function or if you're staying in the hotel but not just a day to go have brunch.

A very sub par experience. We had a reservation for a large group weeks in advance and they were unprepared. They sat us at a huge community table without enough cutlery or menus. The seats at this table are terribly uncomfortable, leave a waffle print on your bottom and are too small for a grown man. We would have gotten over the seating arrangement had the service and selections met our expectations. We thought we could have bottomless mimosas (which are offered on the menu) but one can’t have bottomless mimosas without the bottomless food option. Why can’t one order any entree and still order bottomless mimosas? We all opted to order an individual entree and single drink because bottomless food was unnecessary. After placing our drink orders (champagne, mimosa or Bloody Mary -nothing too complicated) we sat at the table for at least 15 mins with nothing but water. If the restaurant was busy I could understand having to wait, but it wasn’t. In fact, most groups were wrapping up and leaving. The server was pleasant but mostly ineffectual. The food tasted good, but scrambled eggs with melted cheese and avocado toast aren’t complicated culinary items. I won’t be back and I’ll be surprised if anyone in the group will return.

Definitely disappointed overall. We had a 10 AM appointment and our table wasn’t ready by 10:17 so we decided to sit at the bar. Our coffees took at least 20 minutes and then we weren’t asked for our food order for another 30 minutes. Thankfully, we weren’t in a hurry. We again ordered another round of coffee and he put them into to-go cups? Very subtle (not)! Definitely disappointed in our experience with toro am as the dinner is usually awesome!

This is my third or fourth time visiting Toro. Unfortunately not the best experience this time. Booked a 7:45pm reservation (for 3) and arrived around 20 minutes early. Was informed table would be ready at 7:45 so decided to get a drink in the bar. Solid old fashioned. Around 8 checked back in with the hostess and table wasn’t ready yet but it was a busy night. Got seated around 8:05/8:10. Manager did stop by to apologize which server already did so seems like they may have been behind most of the evening. Ordered edamame / sushi roll for appetizers, 42oz tomahawk medium rare to split and the Brussel sprouts. The sushi roll was FANTASTIC. Edamame was unique and delicious. The tomahawk is a 45 minute wait which was explained prior, but Unfortunately this is where the experience turned. As mentioned we ordered medium rare, and it came out table side where they flambéed it which was a cool presentation. once it was served on the shared platter we saw it was more well done with tiny shades of medium+ in areas. We did try it and even tried to mask it with the sauces they provided but it’s tough to get past a well done steak. We did flag the server down and he apologized profusely for this. They did bring the manager by again who also apologized and one of them asked if we wanted a drink while they sorted this out. I declined as I was driving but my friend got a house Cabernet (more to come). The remaining tomahawks were now in the freezer, So we were out of luck on this. The bill came and they took HALF the tomahawk off as a courtesy but since we barely touched it we insisted we didn’t want to pay for this. They took that off but the drink they offered was still on there. We ended up just paying (tipping 20% on original tab -not the servers fault). We were told to come back in so they could make sure everything was prepared properly again but it left a bad taste in my mouth bringing my friend for his birthday and not a great experience so not sure if we will be back

Really fun atmosphere . A little loud for us but we are “ older”! Didn’t love the Margs but loved the shrimp cocktail and it’s perfect to share . My husband’s fillet was beautifully prepared but a bit over cooked and seemed really pricey . The Lomo Saltado was okay… not great . Three way potatoes were amazing ! We were staying at Hotel Clio so lovely option for dining !

Toro never disappoints! The food is always good. The ambiance is great. It’s a little loud for visiting, but not prohibitive. I highly recommend going here for brunch and enjoy! Enjoy the service, the ambiance and the food.

Good food, great music, beautiful interior. I found that the waiters made simple mistakes, however, not atrocious.

The all you can eat brunch menu makes no sense and way overpriced at $50 per person for limited options. The ala carte brunch menu is just basic eggs and omelettes that I can make at home and not pay $25 a plate.
