   It’s such a treat to find high-quality sushi in Puerto Rico, and Toyosu delivers on every level. We thoroughly enjoyed the unique and creative offerings like Mikan Madai (orange-flavored sea bream) and Mikan Buri (orange-flavored yellowtail), each bite bursting with freshness and delicate flavor. The toro tasting was nothing short of exquisite—silky, rich, and unforgettable. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about the origin, flavor profile, and preparation of each Japanese fish—we learned something new with every course. All of it was perfectly complemented by a great selection of Japanese Daiginjo sake. I’ve explored sushi spots all across the island, and I can say with full confidence: nothing else comes close. Don’t waste your time anywhere else—Toyosu is the place!

    Absolutely perfect in every way. The sushi rolls were really well composed and great quality fish. Love the small dining room and intimate experience. Hard to believe we were in San Juan.

   Absolutely incredible! This restaurant serves the highest quality sushi in Puerto Rico—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The vibe is cozy and elegant with amazing background music enhancing the dining experience. The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. Everything was flawless. I highly recommend Toyosu!

   Very nice different experience in Puerto Rico with authentic sushi rolls . Try the sushi lovers sample and yellowtail sampler as well.

   Not to be missed! The fish was amazing, best sushi we have ever had. And the wagyu was perfect. The service was excellent, and we will definitely be back on our next trip to San Juan!

   I’ve been searching high and low for authentic sushi and sashimi in Puerto Rico, and I finally struck gold at Toyosu! With an extensive Japanese sushi menu, you could visit multiple times in a single week and still have new nigiri and sashimi options to explore. Every bite is pure quality, reflecting the freshness and craftsmanship that make Toyosu stand out. Add to that a chic speakeasy vibe and impeccable, five-star service, and you’ve got an unforgettable dining experience.    Our experience at Toyosu was nothing short of phenomenal! The staff provided exceptional service, making us feel truly welcomed from the moment we walked in. However, what truly left us speechless was the sushi itself—simply out of this world! We never imagined we would find such top-tier quality in Puerto Rico.     We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of quality and service at our restaurant, which is reflected in the overwhelming majority of our reviews. Unfortunately, we believe this review may have been posted with the intent to unfairly damage our reputation. The guests ordered Hamachi Toro, Masunosuke Toro and Masunosuke nigiri, as well as our Osaka Roll, consuming 100% of their order—an indication of satisfaction. Our pricing reflects the fact that we are the only restaurant in Puerto Rico flying in fresh fish from Tokyo multiple times per week. Additionally, our team checked in several times during their visit, and they consistently stated everything was great. We stand by our commitment to excellence and invite guests to consider our overwhelmingly positive feedback.
