   We booked a table very last minute on Open Table. When we arrived the place was so busy and we had to wait just a short time. Someone who wasn’t a waiter came over and said that he’d get us started as the waiter had gotten several tables seated at the same time. He was super attentive and friendly, had our food and drinks out quickly, and the food was great! We sat outside and noise levels were fine. It was a fun place and we’d definitely return!

   The food was mediocre for the price. The flavors didn't really meld as they were all too strong, ie too much truffle in the potatoes, too sweet of the yams, too tangy for the crispy rice with the pork belly (pork. belly was good though), the short ribs were flavorless on the inside. The new you strip was ordered as medium rare and came out medium well and very chewy. Overall it wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. We've had much better food for a better price in Palm Springs. I wouldn't go back here and wish we hadn't gone in the first place unfortunately.

   Service was friendly but very slow. Waited 15 min to order. And then another 5 minutes waiting for the rest of our food to be delivered 1/2 came only. Never got asked for coffee refills. You get the picture

   We took friends for brunch and were thoroughly pleased. We have dined at Trio many times and are never disappointed. Today a particular standout was the service. Our server was pleasant, attentive, efficient and everything you would expect in an excellent restaurant (and yes I don't work for the place nor did I receive a free meal for saying this:). We will continue to eat at Trio when in PS and highly recommend it.
