Superb evening from start to finish. The restaurant looked clean tidy and welcoming. We were greeted and taken to our table. Some of our party were a little late but this wasn't a problem. The waitress came over when someone new arrived and asked for their drink choice.the food arrived and was piping hot. Delicious home made food. The price was a lot cheaper than I'd imagined. A huge thank you to our waitress Eve for answering all our questions on food and having a great sense of humour. I would definitely return. A get together was made all the more special. Thank you.

My Mum and I enjoyed a wonderful birthday lunch at Trio. The venue was comfortable, the staff were really friendly, couldn’t do enough to help and the food was delicious. There aren’t many restaurants in the area selling seafood or fresh pasta.

Very good food and service. A bit noisy and the ambiance could be certainly be improved but overall a great asset to Saffron Walden...I hope they do well. I shall be returning!

The food was delicious as was the wine. The staff very polite, courteous, welcoming and friendly. Two glasses of 175ml red wine ordered, same size glasses came containing quite different amounts of wine. Water also requested but forgotten and had to be reordered. Came with apologies though. Overall a very pleasant time and will definitely return to Trio.

First visit to Trio to celebrate family birthday. A very busy Friday evening but excellent service and delicious food. Cocktails good too! A lovely evening and we’ll definitely be returning.
