Formerly know as King Street Trio, TRIO Restaurant is a part of our evolution.

Visit our rejuvenated dining room & experience the best Waterloo Region has to offer. Chef Kyle and his team have been dreaming of ways to excite your palate! From Wagyu beef to the freshest fish & local produce, to our multi-course Tasting Menu, we are thrilled to have you back. Benoit, our restaurant manager, continues to build a wonderful selection of wines from around the world, with particular love for France. Wine pairing is offered with our Tasting Menu or just chose from our consignment focused wine list. Most of our wines are unique to our venue.

Theme nights are offered every two weeks on Wednesday's. These fun & flavour filled nights create an experience that will take you away from France to Mexico to Italy. Our theme nights are available for you every other week on Wednesday's.

    Tasting nights are designed to give the kitchen team the space & opportunity to experiment with new dishes intended for the regular menu & tasting menu. We regret substitutions are not available on Tasting Tuesdays. This 4-course menu will allow you to enjoy our Tasting menu at a lower cost but certainly not a lower quality!

              We always go to TRIO for the tasting menu to celebrate. This most recent visit was one of my favourites. We opted for the wagyu upgrade, and left completely full. Each plate is its own adventure, and the focaccia is to die for. Can’t wait to go back and see Benoit again!

              South-west of France night. Exploring the food of the French Basque (ticketed event with fixed menu, not a regular service night). Benoit and the team put on an amazing service. Food was excellent and very well executed from both a flavour profile and presentation perspective. Wine pairings were spot on. Some of the serving staff were considerably more junior than on our previous visits, but all performed admirably. As always, Benoit's personal hospitality touches made the evening very special. All in all, an excellent experience. We will continue to highly recommend Trio as one of the very best restaurants in the region.

              Trio always does great food and great wine pairings. We went for the French experience night and it did not disappoint. The general manager Benoit is so friendly and does an excellent job with the wine pairings. Highly recommend Trio for all special occasions

              Trio’s experience nights are amazing! This is our fourth experience night and it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend. In our opinion, Trio is the top restaurant in the region!

              We had the most incredible tasting in Canada! The food, service, and vibe were Michelin-level perfection. Truly the best meal I’ve ever had here!

              This was our second visit, this time with other family accompanying us, and it was even better than the first one (hard to imagine). The dining room looks gorgeous, the service is outstanding in every way, and the food … well, it’s not just food, it’s art! A feast for the palate as well as for the eye. A real gem!
