I was looking forward to my True Crisp'd chicken order - it was edible but the chicken and kale slaw had no flavor. I did eat all of it it because I was really hungry and didn't want to complain. I've been pleased with what I've ordered at True Food Kitchen in the past so this was such a disappointment. However, Rosa our server was wonderful - friendly and attentive, and she let me have a sip of wine to taste before I made my selection. Kudos to her upselling - I was going to just order a 9oz pour but I was there during happy hour so she suggested getting a bottle and I could take home what was left. I enjoyed with my home-cooked meal the next day.

Easy to get a table even on Saturday night! It is a good idea to still make a reservation. Meatloaf is amazing! Definitely want to give this a try on your visit to True Foods!

Food was great, service was great but we had two barking dogs at the table next to us. We will return but probably not in the Fall or Spring. Listening to a yapping dog at my friday nite date night wasn’t super.
