The waiter was not the best - he never smiled, he seemed like he did not want to be there and I could hardly hear him. Also my wine was hot (should be cold). This was not the experience I expected.

Arrived at 6 on the dot. Seated right away. Nobody came by our table for 11 minutes. Then two servers came and asked if we’d been served. Them told us we were sat on the wrong side…… the hostess seated us. We left and had a lovely meal at the restaurant across the road where we were seated and had water on the table in the first couple of minutes. Won’t be back.

Great service but prices went up and had gnats in the restaurant but think it’s because people were in and out a lot.

The strain of food pricing is definitely reflected in the amount, ingredient type and availability of menu items. This definitely impacted our dining experience which has really become subpar relative to our previous visits and compared to other dining spots in the area. The touted seasonal desert was not available after we’ve ordered and waited. Then the server came back 20 mins later to ask if we had received our dessert. We live in this area and hopefully this restaurant will “survive “ the panoply of options for dining.

Thank you for your feedback, Auriel. We're sorry to hear about the issues with menu availability and we have addressed these concerns. Our passion fruit tart is our newest item and that day we had an issue with our tart not setting correctly. We have rectified the issue and we hope to see you again in the near future.

I’ve not checked but my small cup of soup I ordered came in quite a large bowl, it was cold but on eating it quickly the soup was warmer at the bottom. It tasted very nice but was only warm. We ran out of crackers for the hummus. No one offered more. We had no cutlery for the pizza and had to ask for it. They were both placed on the other side of the table away from us both. My ice tea was never refilled. I had to go in and ask for more. I asked for two to save be waiting next time. I was very thirsty and we got no water so that was all I had. While initially waiting my pizza then get cold. Our cocktail drink was off. I had to go inside to change it as no one stopped by and again our food was going cold, no crackers and time was ticking by. Thankfully the bar man made a Crime of Passion cocktail that was amazing! I still had to wait for my ice tea. I could then eat a bit more pizza but by then it was cold. I had to go inside twice for drinks and didn’t feel it was appropriate to go inside sooner to get cutlery, warm soup, more drinks … then I may as well stay home and next time just try another restaurant. This is also why I split the tip. Half for the waiter team and half for me as I visited or table just as much as the waiter team. Not saying this to beat the waiter team who may have been having a hard long day but to remind them of the importance of simple acts and service.

We loved our meal! Service was a bit slow due to a popular concert in the area and a large crowd, but the managers stepped up and helped the servers as needed! We enjoyed a delicious dinner on the patio.
