Ulu Kitchen by Merriman is an ocean front restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service featuring local ingredients and recipes created by chef Peter Merriman.

We have indoor and outdoor dining options, with a full bar, and the most prime dining views in all of Ka'anapali. The breakfast menu features classic favorites like Eggs Benedits, omelettes, pancakes, as well as some unique dishes like the cure (breakfast ramen) and our Hawaiian chilaquiles.

Lunch features our signature smash burger, fresh ahi tuna poke bowl, tempura battered fish and chips, and a fresh local veggie wrap.

Dinner has a seafood forward menu featuring Ahi Sashimi, Grilled Tako, Scallops, Mahi Mahi, Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli. From the land we offer a USDA Prime Beef Filet Mignon, Snake River Farms Wagyu Beef Cheeseburger, and Maui Nut Venison Loin.

    We had a perfect outside seating for 2 as I had requested. Staff was aloha friendly, and our server Cody was knowledgeable and efficient. I had the scallops and my husband had the macadamia nut encrusted Mahi Mahi. Both were excellent. A bit pricey, however, food was beautifully presented and, more importantly, delicious. Plus, we were not rushed, which allowed us to enjoy our meal and ambiance.

    Ulu was perfect. Our server was very attentive and accurate with our meal. We had a table right next to the water so we were very pleased.

    We had the best focaccia and lobster ravioli. It was out of this world. Nick, the waiter took extra special care with my food allergies which made it an outstanding experience. We had a front table and watch a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend this restaurant and I’ve already booked two more reservations Aloha.
