Ulu Kitchen by Merriman is an ocean front restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service featuring local ingredients and recipes created by chef Peter Merriman.

We have indoor and outdoor dining options, with a full bar, and the most prime dining views in all of Ka'anapali. The breakfast menu features classic favorites like Eggs Benedits, omelettes, pancakes, as well as some unique dishes like the cure (breakfast ramen) and our Hawaiian chilaquiles.

Lunch features our signature smash burger, fresh ahi tuna poke bowl, tempura battered fish and chips, and a fresh local veggie wrap.

Dinner has a seafood forward menu featuring Ahi Sashimi, Grilled Tako, Scallops, Mahi Mahi, Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli. From the land we offer a USDA Prime Beef Filet Mignon, Snake River Farms Wagyu Beef Cheeseburger, and Maui Nut Venison Loin.

    Amazing food, perfect service, fabulous food. Reserve a table early, sit outside, enjoy the breathtaking views. Highly recommend the maitai with lilikoi foam.

    This restaurant is disorganized. The food is good, but the staff has no idea what they’re doing from the hostess to the staff. We were there twice, made reservations both times and they didn’t even bother to check us off. The reservation list. We won’t be going back.

    The food was fabulous!! Ulu is our new favorite restaurant in Maui. Sarah was a great server and very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back to celebrate our next anniversary!

    The setting is gorgeous with views of the neighboring islands. The sun was setting as we ate our meal - it was very memorable. The menu is a little small and pricey, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Our server was kind and funny.

    Happy Hour service and menu is the way to go here. We had a great HH experience so we made dinner reservations for a few days later. Dinner menu not as varied and inventive, cocktails were meh, and noise level was distracting. Beautiful space, and perhaps we hit the post-Thanksgiving lull, but for the $, I’d pick Monkeypod (same restaurant group) or Ulu at happy hour! Meal was fine, and it is Hawaii, so everything is relative!
