    Enjoyable couples dinner. Good was fresh and well presented. Loved the lobster infused miso soup. We had the Umamia experience platter. One slight disappointment was the serving that had two eight piece rolls. We would have expected more variety. In addition, we would have expected the tea to be served in a teapot.

    Excellent food and great service. I am a regular customer. The only thing i did not appreciate is that you now have to pay 5$ to have the server open your bottle of wine?! It’s not about the 5$, just the principle of any service you ask for, you have to pay. I hope they will change this behavior. Or else again, the food is great and super well presented.

    Hello, and thank you for being a loyal guest! We’re delighted that you enjoy our food and presentation. The $5 corkage fee helps cover costs like glassware, a dedicated dishwasher, and licensing. By allowing you to bring your own bottle, we forgo typical drink revenue, but this setup lets you buy directly from the SAQ at prices 2-3 times lower than at most restaurants. So, while there’s a small service fee, you’re saving significantly by avoiding any markup.
