The food was amazing. We had the 6 course and the omakasse sushi tasting menu ($120). Steak was a little tough but the fish was fantastic. Ambiance was a little sterile. Lights too bright. Overall very good.

From the moment we walked in the door to the time we walked out, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional customer service. They even remembered us when we popped back in to waste time until the line for valet went down. The bar and food were amazing! Highly recommend, and would definitely return!

First of many meals to come. The sushi chef, the owner, the executive chef and really, the entire staff was stellar. If you are in the area or seeing a Bridgerton Candlelight Concert at Immanuel Presbyterian Church next door you simply must choose Umaya as your dining destination. We dined, saw the Orchid Quartet then returned to the bar and spent another hour enjoying this special place. John, the bartender was fun to talk to, the customer service excels here! Just go, it’s the spot.

The appetizers were very detailed and excellent, and all the flavors of the dishes perfectly raised my appetite. I’ll be visiting again for another omakase. It's truly a hidden gem in K-Town.
