   Calamari and hamachi Kama were both over cooked. Food was mediocre for the price.

   Our food was amazing, the service was wonderful, our reservation was the worst table in the entire place. They have three tables near the door, and when it opens you get blasted by the outside temperatures. It was nearing freezing, and many people opened the door during a busy valentines day. The food and service was well worth a 5 star rating, but I can't in good conscience give that overall since I was uncomfortably cold for my entire meal. Had the food or service been even a little worse I would have rated it 3 stars honestly. All that to say I will definitely return since the Black Cod was DIVINE!

   I wish I could comment on the food or quality more accurately, but the truth is that we left. My partner and I made reservations in advance for Valentines Day. Upon our arrival, I notice two small tables, very close to the surrounding tables and about 10 feet from the front door. Considering it’s mid winter and 35 degrees outside, I asked the hostess if she wouldn’t mind seating us elsewhere. To which she replied as if it was such an absurd request and letting me know that they’re “fully booked.” I wouldn’t mind waiting for a different table, despite having a reservation. But this option was not provided. I noticed two bar seats open and asked if we could sit there instead, “I have a reservation for those seats”, ok, but I also have a reservation… “can you be gone by 7?” Which was roughly 45 minutes away at this point… I don’t want to be rushed out of a restaurant but as someone who’s worked the same job as her, I’m more than certain another seat / table will become available within that time frame. Feeling defeated by a conversation that wasn’t going anywhere and being faced with attitude, we decided to take the table provide. It was so close to the other tables that we could hear them chewing. The lighting was so white and sterile, it felt uninviting. We sat for 10 minutes without being greeted so without commitment, we decided to leave. I will let all my friends know how poorly the staff was to accommodating their guests and will forever recommend other places with warmer, more inviting atmospheres :) Shout out to Izumi 5 minutes away for being able to seat us quickly and provided amazing service and even better dishes. We ended out our dinner date on a high note.

   The food was delightful, but it was the service that truly made our dining experience unforgettable. Our server went above and beyond to accommodate every request, from moving us to a quieter area of the restaurant to providing additional napkins. The attention to detail and genuine care for our comfort made all the difference.

   The ambiance was too cold , modern with uncomfortable chairs. Limited menu and servers were rushing you to order/up sale. Also, one if those cringy places that you can only seat while dining ( 90 minutes max). I was not impressed by anything special but really annoyed by service and uncomfortable atmosphere

   The reviews from others were right on, 👍🏾 this place is Amazing! The door was hard to find at night, but once inside. What a Great, small yet full of life restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food served was Delicious & Perfect! The sushi 🍣 🍱 was So Fresh, the cod so light and delicious! And the tea ☕️ was exquisite! And to top it off, the area was Alive & vibrant! I will be going back Often!

   Omigawa continues to be one of the best Sushi options in the area. Highly recommend the Chutoro and Otoro Nigiri. The service is also exceptional.
