There are many imitators, but only one original. If you look up the word “maverick,” you might be surprised to find that it means “an unbranded range animal.” This is because Samuel Maverick, the great-great-great-great grandfather of our founder, did not brand his cattle. Locals soon started referring to all unbranded cattle as “Mavericks.”

After some time, the word came to mean any “independent individual who does not go along with a group or party” as Samuel Maverick was in leaving his cattle unbranded. Although many claim maverick status, Unbranded Brewing Co. is truly the original maverick brewery.

Nice little gem in Hialeah. Place is huge so that’s great, however the service can be a little disappointing at times. Awesome beer selection and a good place to watch sports events.

It is always a pleasure to come to Unbranded. This is brewery has become my second home. The staff is amazing and the beer is second to none. Great variety of beers, seltzer, stouts and craft beer (my fav). The food is great also they bring different types of food every week and weekend. I highly recommend everyone to come and try unbranded.

If accepting group reservations for birthdays, it would be nice to consider letting the customer know that there's no kitchen or any food to buy inside. Perhaps a little note on the website will do. If there's a daily set up for food trucks to be outside, it will be nice to place that note on the website as well.
