   Booked the NYE experience and was underwhelmed. The ambiance was nice and warm with a live DJ. Service was decent and food was too but value did not match at all. The menu was limited for the NYE experience which was communicated but menu wasn’t posted before booking. I had the deviled eggs and they were basic even with the caviar. For my entree I had the short rib which was very flavorful and the greens and mash potatoes were good as well. Dessert wasn’t bad but could’ve done without. Overall the experience was pleasant but not worth $75 a person in my opinion. Might be back for the regular menu to try other entrees.

   I had high hopes for my birthday dinner at Unknown on New Year's Eve, especially after booking their $75 prix fixe menu. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. First, the champagne situation was a fiasco. We were excited to celebrate with bubbly, but when it came time to toast, they only had four glasses for our group of eight! It took nearly 20 minutes for them to find more flutes, and when they returned, the new glasses didn't even match the original ones. No live band after one was promised for NYE. Appetizers took an hour to arrive. To add insult to injury, the complimentary champagne that was advertised, never arrived. The main courses didn’t arrive until 10 PM, which was past the scheduled end time for dinner. To top it all off, when I tried to bring these issues to the attention of the manager, May, I was met with a lack of customer service. She seemed disinterested in resolving the champagne problem and was nowhere to be found when I needed her help. I even had to venture into the kitchen to locate her. While I did manage to enjoy my birthday with friends, this restaurant will not be a part of my future celebrations.

   Our waiter was top tier! Ambiance was sexy and cool. Not overpopulated like the average grass wall spot in Atlanta.

   I ordered the devil eggs for an appetizer and for entree skinless chicken breast , mashed potatoes with brown gravy and garlic green beans. The food was very good. The only issue was the portion size of the chicken was small. It was 3 pieces of chicken cut up like it was a fajita.

   It was my first time going, and the place looks small from the outside, and is a moderate size on the inside. The designs, and ambiance was very nice. I loved our server, she literally was the best part of the night. The appetizers were really good: we had the crab cake and fried tomato. My friend ordered a lobster dish, and it wasn't good. It was really mushy, and bland in taste. I ordered the chicken with smoked mash potatoes, and collards, they were pretty good. The drinks were good though. Very pricey for the food altogether though.

   The food was good, service was great. We went in on a Sunday afternoon so there weren’t many people there at all. I expected the Brisket to have a sweeter, richer taste, but it was more of a savory, almost habanero taste. However, the texture was impressive, as it maintained the “fall off the bone” consistency. Overall, it wasn’t bad. The waiter did not lie to us when he said the drinks are on the sweeter side. I enjoyed the taste of them. The tab was pretty expensive.
